GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY/COVID-19 MEASURES

GENERAL HEALTH/SAFETY & COVID-19 CLINIC MEASURES

We continue to put our patients' health and safety as our top priority.  Included in this form is a detailed list of all current practices we have in place in regards to Covid-19 as well as all other potential health risks to the public.

  1. If you or any person you have been in close contact with are or have been experiencing any viral or flulike symptoms, please reschedule your appointment for a different date.
  2. Your therapist is vaccinated against Covid-19 and will continue to wear a mask at all times before, during and after your treatment.
  3. When entering the Clinic, please use the provided hand sanitizer/wipes or wash your hands with soap.
  4. It is impossible during a massage for both the practitioner and patient to maintain any personal distancing.  Therefore, your therapist will  continue to wear a mask before and during your treatment.  At this time, we are no longer requiring patients to wear a mask into the Clinic or during their treatment.  Please check back for updates regarding any changes to mask wearing policies.
  5. Please do not arrive early for your appointment, just on time as your therapist may still be cleaning/sanitizing the clinic space.
  6.  Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment where possible
  7. Your treatment practitioner has completed the "Personal Protective Equipment Training and Implementation" course prior to ensure the highest level of standards regarding safety and hygiene protocols.
  8. Your therapist has increased the cleaning and sanitation of the clinic in order to exceed the Provincial standards and guidelines that have been set out. There is a minimum of 30 minutes between all appointments in order for the entire clinic to be sanitized adequately.  This includes and is not limited to:
    • Cleaning with Health Canada approved cleaning solutions and disinfectants
    • Wiping down and disinfecting all high touch areas
    • Changing all linens including sheets, pillows or bolster covers, towels, and/or table coverings of any kind after a single use
    • Washing hands and applying hand sanitizer before, during and after treatments as well as frequently throughout the day

If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of the information contained within this document - please do not hesitate to email or phone us to discuss them.  We very much look forward to seeing you!
